Hi, I'm Hendrik Ewerlin and I love to build secure software and empower people to do so.

I strongly believe in the power of threat modeling. It is the most important collection of methods that helps us build secure software.

I provide threat modeling training and help software vendors who are new to threat modeling and want to improve the security of their systems.

I studied (and finished) Master IT Security Networks and Systems at the Ruhr University Bochum with a special focus on human-centered security, encryption and network security.

My master thesis was about Usable and Secure End-to-End Encrypted Medical Image Link Shares.

End-To-End Encryption (E2EE) and solutions for E2EE adoption challenges is another topic I am passionate about.

I work as a Cyber Security Architect at VISUS Health IT GmbH.

Before devoting my whole career to building secure software, I worked as a Software Developer and built full stack medical image viewer applications with high demands in security.
